Your Privacy Matters

This Privacy Policy explains how EchoWebBot Studio handles information when you use the X Bookmarks Exporter extension, its website, account features, and support. It should be read together with the EchoWebBot Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Account and installation information

Account features may collect your email address, name, account identifier, optional avatar, and subscription status. When the extension is first opened, it may register a random installation ID together with its version, locale, browser, platform, and the IP address seen by our server so we can operate and support the service.

Bookmark and X request information

When you start loading bookmarks, the extension reads available saved posts from the X History → Bookmarks page. This can include post text, author details, dates, links, engagement counts, media URLs, and available link-card information. To continue bookmark requests in your X session, selected request details—including authorization and CSRF-related headers—are stored temporarily in browser session storage for the active tab and removed when the tab closes.

Bookmark contents, X session headers, and downloaded media are not sent to the EchoWebBot account service. Export files are created locally in your browser. Media files are requested from X-hosted sources and queued through Chrome’s download system. A bookmark removal request is sent to X only after you confirm that action.

Usage activity

When you use the extension, we send a random installation ID, your extension account ID when signed in, a workflow event name, and aggregate counts such as the number of bookmarks loaded, exported, deleted, or media files queued to this extension’s PocketBase service. Events may include the selected file format, operation duration, extension version, browser, operating system, language, and interface entry point. We do not include bookmark content, post IDs, URLs, X session details, or error messages in these activity records.

Support and billing information

If you contact us, we receive the message and any details or attachments you choose to share. If a purchase is made through an available provider, we may receive plan, transaction, status, and date information. Complete payment-card details are handled by the payment provider. Checkout is not currently available inside the extension.

How We Use Information

We use account and installation information to authenticate users, verify entitlements, maintain security, diagnose issues, and provide support. We do not use bookmark content for unrelated advertising or sell personal information for money.

Storage, Sharing, and Retention

Extension settings and authentication state are saved in browser storage. Temporary X request information remains in browser session storage while needed. Exported files and downloaded media remain under your browser and device controls. Activity records are automatically deleted after 180 days. Account, subscription, installation, and support records are kept only as reasonably needed to run the service, resolve issues, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal obligations.

We may share limited account or support information with providers that host or support our service, with authorities when legally required, or with people you direct. X processes the bookmark requests and account actions you initiate under its own policies.

Security and Your Choices

We use reasonable safeguards such as access controls and encrypted transmission where available. No method can be guaranteed completely secure. You can pause loading, choose which posts to export, clear extension data, or uninstall the extension. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information.

Do not send us passwords, X session details, authentication codes, private bookmark content, or complete card numbers when asking for support. The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher age where local law requires one.

Changes and Contact

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. We will post a revised date and provide additional notice where required.
